The California Highway Patrol reported that there were 31 traffic collisions in Los Angeles between midnight and 4 a.m. Saturday. This number was nine times the number of traffic accidents during that time last week. The Valley has been riddled with accidents over the last 5 days due in part to wet and rainy conditions on the roads.
The Amp shop, a Valley staple, was damaged when an SUV was involved in a nearby collision and flung into the front of the store, causing damage but no known injuries to people inside.
The rain is supposed to let up today but it is still very wet and slippery out there on the roads. Slow down, do not follow to closely and pay attention to your surrourndings in an effort to avoid that unnecessary holiday car accident. We have better things to do with our money.
