Casino Bound Bus Rolls on 210 Freeway Injuring Dozens

Fortunately nobody was killed when a tour bus bound for an Indian casino rolled over on the 210 freeway yesterday. The bus operated by Da Zhen in Monterey Park collided with a car and lost control.The bus rolled onto its side at a speed estimated at above 65 miles per hour. The accident occurred in the area of the 605 freeway east of Los Angeles. 55 people were injured, including 52 bus passengers and 3 people from other cars. As of today at least three people remain hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The California Highway Patrol who investigated the accident says they are still trying to determine whose fault the collision was. Early reports from passengers indicate the bus may have been travelling at a high rate of speed. NBC news reported that the bus company had prior safety violations.
